"Racing In The Rain" by Sue Morganroth
"Racing the Rain" was inspired by life in Olympia and its beautiful waters. I often feel like I'm racing the rain, hoping to get outside and enjoy our beautiful environment before the rain starts. In this mosaic the rain is in a green kayak because without rain our beautiful northwest wouldn't be so special. The glass tiles are on a board that reminds me of our docks, whitewashed and weathered. Hope you enjoy "Racing the Rain" as much as I enjoyed creating it.
